Communities

Bring your customers into the room.

You have seen brands do it with Discord: join our server, hear about drops first, ask questions, meet the regulars. A Lydo Space does the same job with the controls a business actually needs — and an AI concierge that already knows your product.

Why it matters

Built for brands, creators, local businesses, and communities that outgrew the group chat — and never wanted a per-seat bill for the people they serve.

01
The front door

Discoverable, gated, or invite-only.

Choose how people get in. Make the Space publicly discoverable, ask for a short application, or approve each request. Join links show a clean preview — name, photo, what the Space is about — before anyone commits.

  • Public discovery or request-to-join
  • Join links with a clean preview
  • Roles and admin controls from day one
02
The drumbeat

Drops, news, and live moments.

Announcement channels carry the news. Events put the next drop or meetup on a calendar your members can see coming. And when it is time to go live, a Stage room turns the channel into the room.

  • Announcement channels for drops and news
  • Events your members can plan around
  • Stage rooms for AMAs and launches
03
The concierge

Members ask. Joby answers.

Joby lives with your Space wiki, so it answers member questions from what your team already wrote — and cites the source. Your community gets answers at 2am; your team stops answering the same question fifty times.

  • Grounded in your Space wiki
  • Sources cited, not invented
  • Your team keeps office hours — Joby covers the rest
FAQ

Questions buyers ask.

Do community members pay?

No. Members join free. Paid plans are priced per Space — the owner pays one price, the community pays nothing.

Can we keep team channels private from the community?

Yes. Private channels and roles keep the internal team separate from the public rooms, inside the same Space.

How is this different from running a Discord server?

Discord is great at hangouts. Lydo adds what brands end up missing: business-grade admin controls, a wiki, boards, a real calendar, and Joby — an agent that knows your product and answers your members.
