One organization, many Spaces: Lydo for multi-location teams

Lydo Organizations put every location, brand, and team under one umbrella: central admin, one bill, and a member directory across every Space, each running its own team of AI on its own shared brain. Built for franchises, multi-location operators, and enterprises, priced per Space not per seat.

A single Space runs one team, one location, one community. That’s most teams. But some operators have more than one of everything: a restaurant group with twelve locations, a retail chain, a franchise network, an agency with a Space per client, an enterprise with a Space per department.

For them, one Space isn’t the unit. The Organization is.

What an Organization is

An Organization puts many Spaces under one umbrella. Org admins manage roles, settings, and billing across every Space without logging into each one, and a shared member directory shows everyone across the org in one place. Each Space still runs its own room (its own channels, calls, notes, and people), but now there’s a roof over all of them.

And each Space runs its own team of AI. Joby, the built-in AI, is free in every Space; on a paid plan you connect any others you want (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Mistral, DeepSeek, Kimi, Qwen, GLM, or a custom agent) and they work alongside your people on that Space’s own shared brain of channels, notes, and Vault. It’s bring-your-own-keys: switch labs anytime, no provider lock-in. A twelve-location group isn’t one AI stretched thin across a network. It’s twelve teams, each with the models it wants on the knowledge that’s actually theirs.

Built for multi-location operators

This is the part most team-chat tools treat as an afterthought or an enterprise-only upsell. Lydo treats it as the model.

A restaurant group gives each location its own Space (its shift chatter, its 86 list, its schedule) and an Organization over all of them so the owner sees the network. A franchise gives each franchisee a Space and keeps brand standards and announcements flowing from HQ. An agency runs a Space per client and bills them under one org.

Work with other companies, too

Organizations cover your Spaces. Lydo Connect covers the ones you don’t own: link a Space to a partner, client, or vendor’s Space with a secured shared channel: first-class in both sidebars, no guest accounts. We compared it to Slack Connect and Microsoft Teams in shared channels across companies.

Who it’s for

Most teams never need an Organization. A single Space is the whole story, and that’s by design. But if you run multiple locations, brands, franchises, clients, or departments and you’ve been duct-taping separate workspaces together, an Organization is the roof you’ve been missing, without an enterprise SKU just to unlock the basics.
